We had to go back one more time to Kotor to let our oldest kids take in the old city, conquer the castle stairs that reach a pitch so high up the mountain side that you think you’ll never get there, and cradle ourselves one more time beneath the steep cliffs that rise above the bay.
The wind in this anchorage can be fierce. And of course it was the two days we were there. We all took turns on watch through the night to make sure we were staying put. But this place is definitely worth the work.
