A huge shoutout to our new friend Jack! He saw our American flag and paddled over to see if we were from the states.
Jack is from New Hampshire and he’s here on vacation sailing with his family and also an Uncle from the UK. (Quite possibly a few other relatives are on board too but we did not shake him down on this point, so as not to scare him off.)
It’s the first time Jack’s been on a sailing vacation and he was all smiles! I think we’ve got another sailor in the making…
Jack—you made our day! Coming over to say hello put smiles on our faces all evening. It reminded us of our youngest son who started sailing with us around your age. Wishing you fair winds and hope to run into you again next season. (That’s a hint for your family to bring you back for another sailing adventure!)
