The island of Aegina became our home for a couple weeks while we closed down the boat. These little scenes became so familiar to our eyes and yet we never lost our sense of awe for this lovely town and its friendly people. Sailing is full of both the splendid and enough work to keep you either young or tired. But here in Aegina, our long work days were also filled with some really amazing local who quickly became friend, a lot of laughter, and, of course, gelato.
