Back on Aegina, it was time for the last bit of yard work to finish getting the boat ready to splash.
First up, was getting our bottom painted. Never underestimate the joy of having a fresh bottom. A spiffy new coat of anti-fouling and Bedouin looked ready for swimsuit season.
We also did some old school anchor chain marking. Most of the new boats have fancy chain counters at the helm that measure and tell you how far out your anchor chain is. But here on Bedouin we do things a little old school around here; rattle can, zip ties, and color coded chain markers. Fancy huh?
