We make our own power here on Bedouin and a certain captain doles it out like a controlled substance. He tracks its use and lets us know when we can charge things or not.
Today I discovered someone charging an old school notebook which I consider a flagrant abuse of power. And since there’s only two of us onboard at the moment, I know it wasn’t me.
Looks like the captain is busted.
There’s definitely a waiting list for charging around here, depending on how many people are aboard.
We are working on a plan to add more solar panels to the boat and hope to get a few more installed at the end of the season in hopes of becoming fully self-sufficient.
In the meantime, there’s always a line-up for electronics needing an energy hit.
