We transited the Corinth Canal today. It’s pretty impressive:
Four miles long,
Seventy feet wide
Rock walls that reach three hundred feet above.
There’s quite a current flowing inside the channel which was a surprise, and an even swifter cash flow out of our wallet and going into the port office when we paid €295 to use it.
A spectacular experience, especially with the added bonus of dolphins, turtles, and thousands of jellyfish as we made our way to the canal this morning.
