Ever wonder how we get fuel on the boat?
And yes, we know the whole point of sailing is not to use fuel. But, for those times when the wind doesn’t cooperate…we end up using our “iron spinnaker,” which takes a bit of gas.
We thought we’d show you what it looks like to pull up to the petrol station in a boat and fill up on fuel. And our road-snack loving kids are always delighted to find that these pit stops usually come with a little mini mart too. So there’s soda and ice cream bars just like filling up at home.
…except this gas station requires fenders, tossing lines, and a whole lot more cash.
